Part of going to Mississippi is visiting relatives, and it was fun to show off Naomi to them all. This is my mom's aunt and uncle, Aunt June and Uncle Ray -- the ribbon on Aunt June's shoulder was given to her by Naomi. Isn't it lovely?
Here is Naomi and I with my Great-Aunt Billie (my dad's, dad's sister). She has a doorframe in her house where everyone in my family has been measured, but Naomi was a sleepy girl (as she looks here). But she enjoyed exploring Billie's house, particularly her piano!
Finally, we spent Monday night outside of New Orleans with my aunt and uncle (mom's sister). I was so happy to get to see everyone there, and it was nice to split the trip up into two days.
