As I mentioned before, Naomi's new game is playing "naptime". Here I've caught it on video - she is covering up her bear and then patting him. We also rearranged her room, so she has better space to play in there. Her bench now fits, so that and the rocking chair have been good places to sit with her bear and blanket.
This playing has come in handy for our real naptimes. If she is standing up in bed, I can say "Naomi, lay down so I can cover you up." And she does.

i can just see the thought bubble above her head: "how do they DO that, cover me up with one swoop of the arms?! this takes PRACTICE."
